Three Victorians are flying the flag in the NZ Open currently ongoing in Wanganui. Robert and Greg Fletcher (Lismore) and Shaun Nuske (Sea Lake) are all playing both the singles and doubles.

Robert and Greg made it through to the knockout stage of the doubles where they were defeated by Liz and Bruce Fleming (QLD). Shaun and his partner Graeme Roberts also made it to the same stage where they lost to world number 1 Chris Clarke and his wife Jenny (NZ). The event was won by locals Aaron Westerby & Toby Garrison who defeated the Clarkes 26/16, 26/9.

The singles event starts on the 20th with a high-class field including all the players mentioned above and world number 5, Stephen Mulliner from the UK.
