Congratulations to Ken Bald (Horsham Kalimna Park) and Judy Wembridge (Bairnsdale) on their wins in the Victorian Men's and Women's Championship.

Ken won the Men's with Stephen Forster (Geelong Belmont) finishing as runner-up. Rod Kirk (Quarry Hill) was third while Ian Bassett (Kyabram) came fourth.

In the Women's event second place was taken by Tricia Devlin (Castlemaine) while Sue Leitinger and Wendy Dickson (both Brunswick) were third and fourth respectively.

Both events were played at Cairnlea in some pretty challenging climatic conditions and congratulations are really due to all competitors who battled valiantly though the high winds of a Melbourne Springtime!
