Golf Croquet State Team announced.

The Croquet Victoria Golf Croquet State Team to contest the WCF Shield at VCC 29th August - 2nd September 2012 has been selected and all members have accepted selection. The team is Keven Beard (Essendon,) Captain; Wendy Dickson (Yarrawonga); Anna Miller (Belmont), Vice-captain; Eric Miller (Belmont); Neville Pope (Horsham); Anne Quinn (Yarrawonga); John van der Touw (Monash) and Judy Wembridge (Bairnsdale). Reserves are Tricia Devlin (Castlemaine)and Darren McLoughlin (Deniliquin).

The State A Team was selected at the same time and comprises Elizabeth Allen (Rich River); Tricia Devlin (Castlemaine), Vice-captain); Wilma Freeman (Sale); Geoff Reilley (Monash); Jim Saunders (Drysdale), Captain; Genny Vandersluys (Ivanhoe Park) and David Wren (Essendon).

Other members of the squad from which the teams were selected are Frank Creasey, Lyn Creasey, Greg Freeman, Ian Grant, Margery Grant, Bob Roycroft, Val Saunders and Len Twigg.
