Club Days are Wednesday and Saturday playing Association and Golf. Play is on 4 A lawns from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Prepare for the New Season

Organisation is in hand for the coming season. Dates to note are: July 20: Last date to enroll for the Pennant events. Aug 7: Coaching starts again. 10:30 each Saturday.Come along and improve your game. Aug 28: BDCA season opening day. Sept 11: Club Opening day.

Improve your skills this season

On the last Saturday of each month Gwen Hamilton will coach players to use some practical moves so they can keep their break going, by learning:- 1.How to keep going with a 4 – ball break, once it has been established, by overcoming poor pioneers, and by setting pioneers more accurately in the first place. 2.How to bring balls in from boundaries. 3.How to introduce the rush-line game to all their games of croquet. 4.Which strokes are the best for the player to continue their turn successfully? Players at all levels will be able to join in with these activities on coaching days. Along with activities and discussions, players will be given the opportunity to work out the best option for the different scenarios they are given.

Come & Try Croquet - 10th October

Ever looked over the fence and wondered those people swinging mallets and chasing balls were actually doing ! On Sunday 10th October the club will hold an open day for anyone who is interested in having a no-obligation try at the wonderful mysterious game of Croquet. Come between 10 -3, have a try, a cuppa and tasty sanga on us.
